Worms is a free online slither game where you control a worm in an arena full of AI rivals. Eat glowing food to grow longer, and cut other worms off so their head runs into your body — when a worm dies its whole body turns into food. The longest worm tops the leaderboard.
- How do you play Worms?
- Steer your worm with a finger, the mouse or the arrow keys and eat food to grow. You die if your head touches another worm's body, so the aim is to make rivals crash into you instead — then eat what they drop.
- How do you boost in Worms?
- Hold a second finger on the screen, hold the mouse button, or hold Space or Shift. Boosting is faster but slowly burns your length.
- Is Worms like Slither.io?
- Yes. Worms is a single-player slither-style game with seven kinds of AI worm — timid, hunter, greedy, trapper and more — each with its own colour and behaviour, so it plays like a busy online arena without needing a connection to other players.
- Can I play Worms on my phone?
- Yes. Worms runs in the browser with touch controls on iPhone, Android and tablets, with no download or app install.
